The China International Import Expo (CIIE) has become a vital international platform for promoting trade, investment and global cooperation, and China has made important contributions to world economic recovery, foreign leaders and heads of international organizations have said.

As the fifth CIIE opened in Shanghai on Nov 4, they pointed out that China adheres to the right course of economic globalization, and remains committed to promoting global development through cooperation.
