The State Council on Dec 19 released a circular to approve establishing an inter-department joint conference system on internet market supervision.

The move is aimed at promoting the healthy development of the network market, strengthening the legal building of network market supervision and solving major issues encountered during network market supervision.

The conference system is composed of 10 departments including the State Administration of Industry and Commerce, National Development and Reform Commission, and General Administration of Customs.
