Premier signs decree appointing Ho Iat Seng as Macao chief executive

Premier Li Keqiang signed a State Council appointment decree on Sept 4.

According to the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, the State Council appointed Ho Iat Seng as the fifth chief executive of Macao SAR.

Ho will be sworn in to office on Dec 20.
