The State Council on March 17 issued a statement approving the provisional adjustment in implementing some policies and regulations in Shenzhen, South China’s Guangdong province, by Dec 31, 2025.

The circular said that involves stipulations in regulations concerning customs affairs, import and export duties, registration of ships, and prevention and control of geological disasters.

State Council departments and authorities of Guangdong and Shenzhen should make adjustments in accordance with the statement and establish a management system that tallies with the construction of a pilot demonstration area of socialism with Chinese characteristics in Shenzhen.
