The State Council has agreed to a request by the Zhejiang provincial government to rename a high-tech development zone in the province’s Jiaxing, according to a reply issued on Oct 22 by the State Council.

The Jiaxing Xiuzhou High-tech Development Zone will be renamed the Jiaxing High-tech Development Zone.

The letter was also forwarded to the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology and other related departments.
