China to revise, abolish administrative laws and regulations

The State Council decided to revise and abolish some provisions in 14 administrative laws and regulations to promote strict, procedure-based, fair and civilized law enforcement and optimize the law-based business environment, according to a decree signed by Premier Li Qiang and released on Aug 21.

The 14 administrative laws and regulations include those involving international marine transportation, production license for industrial products, waterway transport, road transport, and maternity and child care, according to the circular.

The circular also said that the trial measures for product quality supervision will be removed.
