Premier Li Keqiang has received a Bulgarian national flag, transferred to him by his Bulgarian counterpart, Boyko Borissov.

The flag, which says “His heart and noble spirits will never be frozen,” was sent by the wife of well-known Bulgarian mountaineer Boyan Petrov, who got lost two months ago while climbing the Himalaya Mountains in China. At that time, Premier Li urged all efforts to search and rescue him.

Petrov’s wife attended the news conference held by Premier Li and Borissov on July 6 in Bulgaria and expressed her thankfulness to the Premier and the Chinese government.

Petrov showed the braveness of humankind, Premier Li said, adding that he will give the flag to the related department for permanent collection.
