Premier Li Keqiang will deliver a speech at the closing ceremony of the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing on Oct 9, a top expo organizer said.

Gao Yan, chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the executive director of the expo's executive committee, made the announcement at a news conference on Oct 8.

Government leaders and politicians from Pakistan, Solomon Islands, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, and officials from the Bureau of International Expositions and the International Association of Horticultural Producers will attend the ceremony.

About 900 people, including international exhibitors, horticulture experts and journalists from home and abroad, as well as delegates from ministries and local authorities, will also attend the ceremony.

Premier Li and foreign state leaders will visit the China Pavilion before the ceremony.
