A welcome ceremony was held in Sofia, capital of Bulgaria, for Premier Li Keqiang on July 6.

He was greeted upon arrival by his counterpart, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov.

A military band played the national anthems of the two countries, and the two leaders reviewed the guard of honor, before stepping onto the viewing stand to inspect the marches.

Then, along with Borissov, Premier Li laid a wreath at the Unknown Soldier Monument.
